This is what Mattern-Bua looked like in 1909, it obviously has a long history.  The sea-house has been used for herring-salting, repairing of fishing-nets, baiting of fishing-lines, wash-house, bakery, guest-house, and many other alternative uses throughout the years.

So now the Mattern-Bua has been restored as a guest-house for tourists, and we hope that both Mattern-Bua and our guests will look forward to spending a Holiday here at this lovely sea-house!
