In Bulandet, Norway’s most western community, Torunn and Kurt have a sea-house which they hire out.

 

The sea-house is named “Mattern-Bua”, named after he who built it, some time between 1906 – 1909.  His correct name was Mathias, but he was nick-named Mattern.  “Bua” is Norwegian for sea-house.

 

The “Mattern-Bua” has 3 bedrooms, with a total capacity to sleep 7.  Two of the beds are double beds.  With a party larger than 7, there is the possibility to hire extra matrasses, re pricelist.  You can then easily double the sleeping capacity.

 

On the ground floor there is a combined livingroom and kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed, and a shower-room with toilet.  You will also find a utility room which contains a sink and deep-freezer.  This will give you the possibility to fillet and freeze your catch of fish.

 

All floors on the ground floor are tiled and have under-floor heating.

 

On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms and a toilet with sink.  There is also adequate place for storing of luggage.

 

Mattern-Bua is fully equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, deep-freezer, fridge, television, and everything else you will need for your stay with us.

 

A 14’ boat with 9,9 HP engine is available for hire.  At the southside of the sea-house there is a nice patio which can be used for sun bathing and bbq’s.  A gas bbq is available for Summer bbq’s.
